3.1 Phillip Lim S/S 07 NYC

i love it.. some of the pieces are really beautiful
overall looks very wearable
looking at the pics brought a smile to my face and that's always a good sign :flower:

I think this is my favorite collection so far. I love that it's understated and yet it contains so many beautiful details  .

i absolutely love everything here! the silhuoettes are perfect, managing to strike a balance between voluminous and a good fit. i love the muted colors and neutrals used. really amazing! very chic, and untouchable/accessible at the same time. one of the best ones so far.

It's so feminine and lovely. I always love to see white used well. The flower detailing is a nice touch.

honestly I'm tired of seeing the flower/rosettes everywhere for Spring:doh: I guess that's what comes to the designers mind with the word Spring, but still it's too much for my taste

I love it! I think this is my favourite collection until now, even though I'm pretty tired of all the white stuff. It's very nice, wearable and I love the colors

oh all those light and airy fabric :crush: Rochas definitely made a huge impact in the industry. This collection is much better than his previous collections IMHO, and I hope that the final products look as good in stores :innocent:

beautiful soft white, airy, ethereal pieces, I`m in love w/ this collection!
Welcome back SPRING!!

good impression overall
i like the whole all white idea..it didnt turn out dead boring
but none of the pieces really stood out for me..except for the shoes
i love the shoes!

I love this show - it is dead boring, but it's so fresh, I love it!

Ai looks amazing in white.

Feb Br. Vogue article 'The detailists' on the rosettes at Phillip Lim..

The hand-sculpted roses may have appeared on just a few of his s/s looks, but one dress alone had 39 buds scattered across it (which translates as 36 hours of intense handiwork). In total approximately 1500 roses have been created for the collection. each formed from a three-piece pattern of one small and two large sections, handpleated and folded into half-moon shapes. then carefully gathered to create the three-dimentional rose before being placed and carefully handstitched on to the garment. The rose is masterminded by 36-year old Koi Suwannagate, a decorative-arts graduate from Bangkok's Silpakorn University and designer of her own very succesful cashmere line. ...
