even if they did i'd want one, though, it's hilarious!
...although the website didn't mention anything about it being made by someone...and this site sells nothing but authentic bags etc etc..

It's authentic. Saw them a couple years ago. I think they're called Happy Kelly or something like that. Don't know if they were a limited thing or if Hermes still sells them.

I'm not sure about the one you found on that website, but there was a bag like this actually made by Hermès. It was designed to celebrate the year 2000 in a limited edition, under the name "quelle idole" or "Kelly doll" (pun intended). I first read about it in one of my handbag books. Authentic ones can be found occasionally, in a price range around $2,000.

Yes it's very cute ! I've found a place that can make this bag to order, of course I'm not going to buy her an authentic kelly at her age
I do have an authentic 30cm kelly, I thought it will be fun for her to have a copy of a mini one like mummy, I wish I could paste the picture to show you, but I don't know how

yes! this bag is the quelle idole... i love it so much. it's so cute.
to my surprise, someone's actually selling one on ebay... i'd buy it if i had that kind of money (it's $3000) ... it's really small... would make a cute evening bag and/or conversation piece. it's such a darling!
