It's so painfully similar to what they have been doing for years, unfortunately the quality doesn't speak for itself to make me want to shop for the same pieces again - Except from maybe a pair of raw denims.

i actually think it's quite different...
the styling is def different...
maybe the pieces are basically the same...

i don't like the styling...

looks too ragamuffin and at those prices i am not trying to look like i'm shopping at the salvation army...
:ermm:...

while it may look effortlessly chic on the right person, to me this just comes across as GAP-lite.

Ive always been a bit partial to a.p.c but this is...meh

its that same 60s look with the chloe shift dresses which have been on the scene for the past 3 years , i guess they are playing it safe but its a bit boring.

I like it, but it's definitely nothing groundbreakingly new or innovative.

my wardrobe is still unformed enough that any of these pieces would be a shiny new addition. they are well made, if spendy.

but that said, nothing here really makes me go pitter pat.

love the first two colour combos  esp the yellow w burnt orange on two-tone

I actually prefer this to the last couple of season's of APC but, having said that, there's nothing that makes me desperate to buy.

yeah as someone above said, it's very safe. There is nothing fresh or interesting here, even styling wise for me. It's quite blah. If you're going to use those colors, something needs to jump out and nothing is. It's like the dregs from the 60's/70's theme and I'm kind of over it. Plus APC is not designed for my body shape so I always have to work extra hard to find anything they produce that will look half decent on me. Not worth the effort with this collection.

eta: the more i look at this, the worse it gets. It just looks sloppy. And not in a cute unkempt way, just bad. Like those trouser cuffs which are flopping out, instead of being crisp. The proportions seem wrong and the colors and prints make me feel queasy.

this boggles my mind. i was hoping for a home run for winter as i need some good winter pieces, but this just repetitive and kinda drab.

yeah very 60s....a bit dull i think....nothing speaks to me...except maybe that orange skirt with the pale blue button up shirt tucked in....that's cute and at least stands out a bit...but of course i'd never wear a bright orange skirt...i don't think...:innocent:

**eta: thanks for posting lucy!. :flower:

that first model is very eh. old navy is going to have a yellow coat that looks exactly the same next month and gap had one for spring...

Looks cheap and illfitting, that first pant in post #2 look terrible, the cuffs. I'll probably get a few basic pieces though

I loved APC when I first discovered it but now I anxiously await each new season in the hopes I'll be amazed, never happens. I jokingly call it "hipster GAP". It's following the same philosophy of discretion, simplicity, and the iconic. Unfortunately their prices have gone so high so that I may very well be shopping at the GAP soon (with Patrick Robinson at the helm it's a possibility).

This season it seems it's a bit more 70's than 60's especially with those colors, but *yawn* that ain't enough.
