I was just remember than the first Anna's issue as EIC, was july 1986. I think than she started work on this Vogue's edition two years before, but Beatrix Miller was the EIC.

Although I got the info from Wikipedia - I know not the most reliable source & vogue.co.uk (magazine archives) - both state August 1984 (The Talisa Soto cover - where her eye is covered). But in Grace Coddington's memoirs she mentions that Anna's first cover features Amanda Pays which is August 1986. So who knows - the answer will eventually come to light.
