The details of the shoot are yet to be revealed, but I can share one of the more amusing model gossip gems to surface. When talking about how models navigate the runway in increasingly ludicrous designer shoes, we touched on the so-called 'armadillo' shoes from Alexander McQueen's S/S 2010 show (below). So, poor Abbey was afraid.
I'm glad she decided to skip it, God knows what would've happen if she walked in those giant creepy can't-call-them-shoes. Wonder what's the new work? Maybe something for VA?

That is so funny! I thought that the folks at McQueen may not have hired her because she fell the year before and the shoe's were twice as crazy this year!

I personally love McQueen and I sure loved the shoes and I missed Abbey in the runway... But she's her own boss...

Actually she didnt fall because of the shoes at Mcqueen (Spring 09) she fainted because of a tight corset. She fell at Rodarte Spring 09. She probably skipped Mcqueen because she missed the Fall 09 season because of knee surgey so I dont balme her not wanting to wear those shoes. If she falls down she could f*ck up her knee even more. Good call Abbey.
