Where was that mix-up? Correct me if I'm wrong, but they mixed her only with Hanne, right?
ALMOST HC!!
Can't wait to go through the show and get pictures!
No, they got Hanne right. The the second pic, which of course is Abbey, Grazia said "meet Magdalena Frackowiak".
And please don't burst my bubble about wanting to dub Abbey's Aussie accent over footage of Magdalena talking.
Sasha Knezevic is one of the world’s top male models, who just so happens to be dating another top model — Anja Rubik. We’ve seen the pretty power couple join forces before — posing for those adorable Gap ads and then again in those Camilla Akrans ads that were too hot for words. But we’ve never seen them take on a project as large as this one.
Last November, the two began work on the already established Viennese magazine, 25. We aren’t very familiar with the publication, but apparently the magazine needed a major revamp, and after being approached by a friend, Sasha agreed to help out. Before he knew it, he was adding a new job title to his resume — joint Editor-in-Chief. He explains, “I convinced Anja to do the fashion part and before we realized, we had our own magazine.”
With their newly appointed editorial positions (Anja is the Fashion Director), the two were able to bring in a fresh team. In a video interview with Models.com, Sasha talks excitedly about the upcoming spring issue. Juergen Teller, Lachlan Bailey and Victor Demarchelier have already signed on to photograph, and models Eniko Mihalik, Sasha Pivovarova, Heidi Mount, Maryna Linchuk and Abbey Lee Kershaw will pose for the pages inside. And acccording to Fashionologie, the new 25 will have six editorials — five women’s fashion-focused with one men’s fashion spread.
This sounds like a very promising start, and we’re excited to see what young talent can bring to the publishing table. This isn’t your Condé monthly, that’s for sure.
2009 was the year Abbey Lee unleashed her inner super-model and flounced, flaunted and flourished her way through a raft of incredible bookings. Her presence was so alive this year on the runways that even critics not known for their model watching (that would be Cathy Horyn) chose to name check her. Through all her swirling and twirling for Gucci Flora, her frolicking at this year’s VS extravaganza and her tongue-in-cheek poses in December’s Vogue Italia Twitter story, it’s good to see a girl having fun with her job.
That is probably one of my favorite editorials I have ever seen for Abbey (...) Abbey moves and gives shapes like few girls can.
Its a signature walk!!
Her walk is very strong. She has this look of cool and carefree on the runway, i think her walk is improving though, compared to when she first started until now.
