^ ikr. Its always like that between fashion weeks, and with her band projects she must be busy working (on the low)

Well if anyone is up to it, i was wondering if anyone has identified any of her jewelery or accessories (or even any of her own clothes)? I looked up polyvore but those are just inspired i wanted to see the real thing. :flower:

This skirt is said to be Free People!

^ when she walks out the door, you're sure she's wearing an outfit you'll remember. :]
i love the purple top! Isn't it givenchy? I remember the brand that made it made a special tshirt for style.com's 10th anniversary with ribcages on it. :)

Also, since i've decided to go vegetarian, i went out looking for recipes and stuff and was curiose to know who in the industry was too, since you often hear of them (sasha, catherine, natascha...) and read on a few posts that Abbey is pescetarian.

Abbey will be in Versace F/W 11.12 campaign.

While Spring/Summer at Versace had been announced by Sixties’-style sensuality starring January Jones, the new campaign gathers some of the hottest models of the moment.
The campaign, shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, portrays Australian model Candice Swanepoel, the new face and highly-rated Daphne Groeneveld, who has been very successful in the latest fashion show season, Australian Abbey Lee Kershaw, Natasha Poly and Saskia De Brauw, the Dutch model who has already graced the cover of Vogue Italia in March 2011. The styling of the campaign was designed by Joe McKenna.

I actually can't see candice in there...
The other girls can all sport an edgy and weird look, with defined and memorable features. But Candice is more like your girl next door, as portrayed in Victoria Secret (even though she has done runway, and that other VS girls have done high end stuff too.) I just don't see her in there. But good news for Abbey!

Saskia is the only one who made the cut, a good source already told that. Shame for Abbey and those others.

I want to edit, that nothing is confirmed, she could still be in Versace. It's a mystery what did happen at Versace.

Has this interview been posted yet?

Our Mountain is a Melbourne-bred, New York-based, religious grime psych band that deserve some adoration. They’ve toured nationally with the The Slits and just finished their debut album, and are part of that throw-yourself-into-the-wind tradition that usually comes about when a band picks up and moves to the big smoke. They are fearless, enigmatic, and full of idealism. We went and spent some time with them the night of their first performance at the Mercury Lounge. There was Matthew Hutchinson flippin’ around on lead, Abbey Lee Kershaw on percussion and keys, dramatically throwing her hips as she slapped a chain against the ground, Daniel Hallpike to the right on bass and Michael Noonan to the left on drums. They are a great bunch, unique and charming and one of the more exciting live shows that’s been seen in some time – despite the fact that we were the lone members in the audience. Perhaps this is what made it so special. When you catch something right on the brink, right at the start and it still feels monumental – well that’s your ticket.

What inspires you guys music-wise?
Abbey Lee Kershaw: All elements in my life are driven by pure human emotion. I'm a Gemini.
Michael Noonan: Everyday life and to postpone the idea of ever getting a real job...

What Australian musicians get you going?
MN: Tex Morton, Mick Turner, Dirty Three.

Who are your favourite onstage performers?
MN: I was fortunate enough to see Damo Suzuki play at Revolver in Melbourne a while back. He’s definitely at the top of the list.
ALK: When I was 13, I went to an AC/DC concert with my dad. Watching a 50-year-old Angus Young bounce from one end of the stage to the other, sweat exuding from every god damned pore like he's merely 17 will remain a fond memory.
Daniel Hallpike: Freddie Mercury.

If you had to cover a song what would it be?
MN: Billie Holliday’s All of Me.
DH: Rod Stewart’s Tonight's The Night.
ALK: Lesley Gore’s You Don't Own Me.
