Absolutely Fabulous

^as disappointing as that is as well as the F&S series, they still are writing and producing fantastic programmes.

to me,the world is such a better place with the comedy of dawn and jen. everything they've done is so timeless and i've seen every episode of abfab multiple times over and they all still kill me. it is and always will be the best parody of the superficial side of the fashion world.

Absolutely my favourite show ever. Is it true that they are going to produce new episodes?

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

"What are you wearing Eddy?"
"It's a Lacroix"

Jennifer is recovering from breast cancer, heard that she and Joanna are in talks to bring it back. I''l be the first in line!

^Yes, that's what I've heard too. I hope it's true. It will be amazing to see Patsy and Eddy again.

I have to click home a DVD-box soon... I love this show so much, and I secretly fear becoming like them :ninja: haha

they are in the works of bringing the show back for a few specials. in fact,i think i read a few months ago, joanna lumley confirming they will be filming three new specials in 2011 and are planning three more for 2012. not sure which part of the year but hopefully it's happening now or will be soon.

AB FAB christmass special 2011!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are going to be three episodes. Two for christmas and one for Olimpics.

gosh i used to loe this show when i was younger even though i didnt understand it at all  i watched it on Logo and now i see why i did

New episode! To be honest, I don't like it that much. It's like 5 series in one. there is so many things going on, so it's hard to focus on it. I hope, next episodes will be much better.

OMG, I've just recently started watching it. Last week, actually. It's AMAZING. I'm on Season 3 already and have only one episode left. Eddie and Patsy are absolutely fabulous (lol), just love their relationship. I can't wait to finish the series and I'm glad they're doing more episodes. I think I've read that they're also doing a movie too. It's going to be amazing.

Considering they are specials the episodes were so limited in time, i felt half an hour was too short.

And i agree Jazzeh, we needed more Patsy/Eddie time.

And was it just me or was Stella McCartney not in either one of the two specials so far ? i mean she could be in the Olympics special (she is the official designer for the British Olympics uniform) but i thought she was in the Christmas special seeing as 'Eddie' shown up at the switching on of the Christmas lights at Stella's boutique.

^already?! sheesh.

anyway,it premiered last evening for those of us stateside and all i can say is,oh how i've missed thee. although it was more to do with the whole cast(which i believe may have been a conscious decision on jen's part since it's been a while and it being an x-mas special)as opposed to the separate relationships.....jennifer's writing is just so brilliant.....it still felt very AbFab. from the zingers from patsy to eddy's slightly adhd personality....and the prison angle was hilarious! oh and titicaca

and does june whitfield ever age? she looks splendid!

i really hope all the buzz and excitement this generated may compel jennifer to write another full series. it's been such a long time since we had one(2003) and i think we've been deprived long enough. and it still remains so relevant and would fit perfectly with how our current culture is going. i mean that kardashian scene was spot on!

^It's rumored they'll be doing a film version of the series, i heard Jennifer Saunders wants to shoot it in the South of France...
I'd much prefer a series though, much more enjoyment!

yeah i read about that on her fan page on Facebook. to be honest,i think anything they do will be fantastic but i would still love to see a series again.

I was slightly disappointed with the first new episode. Patsy and saffys relationship was way too cordial. Also, I'm not sure if the show will translate well as a movie. The laughing audience is a huge part of the comedy IMO. With all that said it's really good to have them back, especially my Bubble! :)
