Acne Jeans F/W 07.08

Sorry if this is a repost, tried to do a search but couldn't find anything on the latest Acne collection.

Thoughts? I really like it, nothing revolutionary though, but I love the simplicity of the designs, the colours and the androgyne looks.

Looked better on the runway than it does on the website.. The few pieces I've seen in store so far aren't too impressive. They're having a sample sale on Thursday where I'm hoping to find something!

Agree, the photos doesn't do the clothes much justice. Haven't really seen anything in stores yet, i'm hoping to find that parka coat, looks real comfy. Sample sale sounds great, good luck finding something.

I love the parka , that giant zip it's almost like a cape. Quite like the sort of harem pant lengths and cuffed hems.

I like these odd quilted hats and headpieces too.

I could imagine myself looking quite like an idiot in one of those hats, but yeah, actually i like them too. On other people's heads that is.

Oops. I meant my wardrobe isn't big enough. I get put off by the name acne as well.

I bought some pieces from the F/W 07.08 collection at the sample sale yesterday. Probably some of my best investments in years.

To be honest I'm getting a bit bored with Acne. They have some nice basics, and their stuff is of great quality, but the past few collections haven't done anything for me.

^^ Acne's strength definitely lies in the basics, same as with for example Filippa K... I got two t-shirts and a longsleeve at the sample sale and the quality is very impressive. I don't think their idea is to be cutting edge (but maybe a bit hip) but to provide good quality clothing.
