because Margiela invented ripped jeans?! Seriously, that style was big in the 80s. While I'm sure they saw what he did and are referencing him, it's not like he invented it.

I think a great collection from them again. I love the black shirt/grey pant combo and their dresses. Just don't get the weird bolivian-cowboy hat thing.

well don't you find it a little suspect that acne makes jeans all the time and they choose to do a destroyed jean exactly one year after we saw mmm do them? and the way the ripping is done is quite similar.

yes, as I've said, I've no doubt they were inspired my the Margiela jeans, my only point was that Margiela was not the first or originator of that type of ripped jeans
