The worst Acne collection ever.

This is pure garbage.
Remember when 10 years ago Acne was the quirky cool brand designers and artsy people used to buy ? They offered solid collection of clothes being wearable yet weird because of their odd proportions and details.

This mess looks like some compost made to raise nasty grass in the garden of hell.
It’s wannabe Ottolinger I feel (not a good thing per se).

I thought I was the only one puzzled by what’s happening to this brand.

As the years go by, I get more and more confused with what Acne is about. They also seem to be trying really hard to court some of the Y-Project like clientele with this collection, maybe because some of the Acne crowd has moved onto Y-Project.

This also looks like some of the stuff my students put out. Works for them (when it does), sure as hell doesn't here.

While their summer collection was charming in a twisted way, this one is just too weird for me. It has an insanely strong Ottolinger vibe which is not good to begin with, at least in my book. I think it must be related to Acne Studios switching to collective model, or at least I've seen that kind of announcement somewhere.
