Hi,

The Indian flavor is really catching up on the ramps.
The women: Ujjwala raut and Meghana Reddy.

Now there is a male model. After Satya who is of Indian origin, now it is 23 year old Acquin Pais. (Ricardogay UK agency) B)

Half Indian, half British.

He has already modelled for D&G, and Kenzo. Now it is Milan.

I was told I look a little bit bit like this guy, now that I've seen his picture, I disagree.

He's cute. But I thought India already had an international caliber male model with Zulfi Syed and Rajeev Singh? Rajeev was the winner of Manhunt International 2001 and Zulfi was Manhunt 4th runner up in 1997.

Then there is John Abraham who represented India in Manhunt 1998, he was 1st RU. Dino Morea was 1st RU in Manhunt 1995. Both thse guys are now huge film stars in India.

Acquin is cute but I think Zulfi is WAY cuter. But Acquin has that look that is very now. Kinda like "what if Greg Brady was from India" look. Designers want that from male models nowadays.

U really know ur Indian models well. B)

I do agree that Indian models modelling in India are beefier, and cuter, more mature looking than Acquin here, but unluckily none fit the 'look' of the moment on an international level.

Milind Soman is still as hot as ever.

Many more new additions on the Indian ramp. And each 1 is WOW!!!

The irony is that Acquin pais did not work well in the local Indian market, coz his 'look' is not right for the Indian market. Too tall, too thin and too boyish looking. lol.

So, somebodys loss is someone elses' gain.
