ctor Corey Haim died this morning of an apparent overdose -- possibly accidental -- according to LAPD. He was 38.

Police tell us they were called to St. Joseph's hospital in Burbank, CA shortly before 4AM PT to investigate.

Haim shot to fame in the 80s -- when he co-starred in a number of films, including "The Lost Boys," with Corey Feldman.

Haim reportedly suffered a drug-induced stroke in 2001 and was rushed to the UCLA Medical Center.

Haim also reportedly was in and out of rehab 15 times, but cleaned up in 2004 after moving to Toronto.

Corey Haim, 38, Found Dead

By Stephen M. Silverman

Corey Haim is dead, Los Angeles Police confirmed to TV station KTLA. He was 38.

Police say it is believed the actor, who had a long history of substance-abuse problems, perished from an accidental overdose at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Haim reportedly was found unresponsive at his Southern California apartment. His mother was said to be with him at the time.

He was pronounced dead Providence St. Joseph's Medical Center in Burbank.

Haim shot to fame in the '80s after starring in several teen films, including The Lost Boys, Lucas and License to Drive. Most notably, he collaborated numerous times with Corey Feldman, and the pair were dubbed "The Two Coreys." They starred in an A&E reality show with that name from 2007 to 2008.

But Haim struggled with drug addiction for several years. At one point, Feldman told his friend he would no longer speak to him until he got sober.

I guess his death isn't so much of a surprise when he has been in and out of rehab 15 times

RIP to him anyway :(

I liked him most out of the two Corey's. The Lost Boys is classic; I can't even count the number of times I watched it growing up.

RIP.

Those of us who grew up in the 80s remember him well.
For some reason, I always thought it was the other Corey (Feldman) who had more issues.
RIP

im still in shock, just saw it on imdb.... may he rest in peace :cry: Corey and Corey....

Those two were massively popular on a scale difficult to reproduce nowdays, it's very sad his life didn't turn out for the best.

There must be a lot of young people in TFS, i would expect more people to remember him.

Oh no so sad. No more Corey & Corey. I absolutely loved him in the Lost Boys, I've watched that movie more times than I can count.
