I can't say that I noticed it doing anything remarkable, but I alternate it with various other handmade natural soaps, so have never used it for more than about ten days at a time. Maybe my skin gets a little softer when I use it; I'm not sure.
I have read statements from other people claiming that it helped with their skin problems but since I don't really have chronic skin problems (other than mild KP) I can't say what it helps with, exactly.
I can say that I like the smell and feel of it and it definitely does not dry out my skin (many mass-produced soaps do.) I use the unscented, I haven't tried the Savanna Spice.
I'm ashamed to say that I still haven't tried it but everyone seems to have nothing but positive things to say about it, especially when used in conjunction with shea butter.
