When I was in Poland I was hanging out with 2 agnieszkas and they pronounce it like supermodel said (3 syllables not 4). But either way I think its a beautiful name

maybe they pronounced it differently...I have the same agency as her, all the agents pronounce it the way I said so unless they are mistaken...in which case she would probably be super annoyed all the time haha

edit: maybe its the polish girl's accents that makes it sound like that, and ag-nee-ess-ka is the American-ized way of pronouncing it.

well im polish, and i'm 100% sure that it's pronounced the way i wrote before... unless this particular agnieszka is an exception to the pronounciation of this quite popular name, which I doubt.
in polish, "sz" is prounced as "shh", so the way you said is probably the american way to say it, because in english someone would prounce it as "ss"

My bad then, it is possible that when they said it to me it was so fast that I didnt hear that extra sylable

Either way polish is a very difficult language, I only learned like 3 words out there + bad words of course
