Danish Bacon: Aia Busk
THE-COUNSEL
The cool and edgy model, Aia Busk, just walked her first Alexander McQueen show during the summer in Paris. She's done several editorials and has a passion for tattoos and poetry. The rising star didn't exactly get discovered on the street and she has a specific opinion on how to handle a model-career. With her pure beauty and strong personality, Busk seems to have a very promising future ahead of her...
How were you scouted as a model?
I wasn't actually scouted. My mom was the one who took me to the agency. I'd just turned 14, I didn't want to do a paper round and I was too much of a scenekid to babysit. But I was tall and skinny, so we gave modeling a shot, that's pretty much what happened.
What is your biggest experience until now? - What is your dream job?
My biggest experience until now must be the McQueen show I did in Paris this summer. Actually just doing the Paris Fashion Week for the first time was quite the experience.
I don't think I have a specific dream job. Ever since I started my career, I've just taken it day by day, and I think that's the most human way to do it. One day you're in, the next day you're out. You never know, so you might as well focus on doing your thing while you can; even if it just means today.
What is your plan after modeling?
I've wanted to tattoo since I was 12 years old. I also really want to study and write poetry on a professional level. So I guess those two things are my actual dream jobs, to be honest. But for now, they can wait.
