Ah, I figured it out though. Apparently IMG Worldwide bought Australian Fashion Week or something. So they were 'gracious' enough to ship in quite a few of their international talents, including Alana. The article about it is here.

Ohh, I just read this on the Vogue forum...

"I was talking to a NY IMG model who says she could not repay her debt to IMG for accommodation in Paris so IMG have sent her and other models to Australia and they have automatically been given parades in order to repay their debts"

I hope Alana wasn't one of the ones sent because of debt

Definitely ... it's almost a direct copy! Looks nice, though.

I think it's more of a worry that she has debt, not that she has to pay it off in Australia. There are worse places to model than Sydney.
