Alberta Ferretti S/S 2016 : Liya Kebede & Amber Valletta by Peter Lindbergh

The casting is great but they could have made more out of it.

Beautiful surroundings, however I would like the campaign to be more dynamic. Great casting.

I love the background! The clothes fit right in!

However... with a white studio background this campaign would have been bland & boring!
The models are bland and boring in this.

Great everything: location, cast, photography, styling... :D

Sometimes I hate this kind of cast, the white girl and the black girl, I love Amber, and I love Liya, but in my honest opinion these girls do not make a nice couple, at least this is not the case; don't you try that hard. Amber is just standing there, doing nothing but looking uncomfortable and out of place.

^but it´s hard to please everybody, I remember other arguments: if there are several black girls it´s the "black girl" editorial (US Vogue by Lindbergh); if there are several black girls, one white girl the black girls are seen as accessories (Balmain); if there are several white girls, one black girl then there´s no diversity in fashion...
what´s the ratio so it´s not controversial?

It's like a US Vogue editorial. I had high hopes with the cast. But it's Lindbergh so recycled concepts should have been expected

But overall it's still better than some campaigns thus released

The casting is great!!
However, both of them look uncomfortable....

I don't like their posing. As someone said, something more dynamic would be better. But it's hard to argue with the setting and the cast.

The relationship between the two women is entirely lacking, which makes the ads uncomfortable to look at, no matter how wonderful the locations are.

They both look as if they can't wait for the other one to leave the set, but until then, they'll just stand there stiffly, barely tolerating the presence of the other person.

I love the cast and location but there's nothing dynamic about this. It looks like it's from a Sundance catalog.

Nice campaign, great to see Amber & Liya together, looks like Mikael Jansson's work than Lindbergh's.

Fantastic pairing, but like everyone said it should have been more dynamic. The location is wonderful and the models and photographer iconic.

Good to see Ferretti still has budget for this.

The cast is amazing! I love this campaign! Beautiful climate.

Not good. It should have been better. Some movement à la I&V for Chloé would've worked.

Liya is just gorgeous. She makes Amber disappear.

Amazing cast, great styling and the set design is gorgeous!
