Heir to a Major French Fashion Design Throne: Alberto Marani?

Apparently word is floating around Paris that Alberto Marani, who assisted Gianfrano Ferre at Christian Dior in the '90s and currently consults for three of Carine Roitfeld's favored brands in addition to producing his own line, Marani, "is next in line [to design] for a major French house," according to Hint. "We're sworn to secrecy."

Chloe maybe? Hannah has kinda been doing the same s*** for three seasons in a row and for some reason I instantly thought of that brand.

I was thinking hopefully Ungaro or maybe even Rochas.

^ Zanini at Rochas always sells well though, so fingers crossed for Ungaro.
Though I am looking at Marani's work and it's alright, if not a little bland. I hope all of the major French fashion houses don't all go the Valentino way and do the most dull, most unoriginal designs.
Though I am quite liking what's happened at Nina Ricci; I hope Peter Copping starts to add a little more of his own personality into future collections.
I'm not a fan of MacGibbon either - she hasn't got the edge.

I also think he'll get Chloe
Hannah is a great designer but her work is not really convincing me
