Alexander McQueen F/W 2023.24 by David Sims

Momo, Yseult and Liu Wen's shots are the best ones. (really happy for Yseult!)

Eva in the suit is spectacular! Why is it that David Sims always does a better job in advertising than his editorial work these days?

^And who would we have left then? Every campaign by Cass Bird, Luigi and Iango and Luis Rodriguez? Non merci.

His current work is still leagues above McDean, Jansson, I&V, M&M and Sorrenti and a lot of the time he remembers that fashion needs to actually look elevated. I like this campaign when you see the images altogether, even though I'm not that into many of the individual shots really.

Liu Wen looks so bomb though; great for her finally having the campaign season she deserves after all these years.

we only needed Liu Wen I’ll say it again. she would’ve pulled off all of the outfits we can see here.

this said: the blond model in red looks great and Eva’s shots are good too.

Eva Green and Alexander McQueen. Should have been spectacular.

Liu's shots are good. Naomi, I feel, could've done better. The smiling seems unfit for a McQueen campaign.

Considering I actually liked the cast on paper, this is a terribly disappointing result but this is one of those times in which I’ll settle for good enough…at least it was not shot by Pavarotti.

Eva Green on her own or Naomi Campbell on her own would have made more sense, as opposed to this random casting lineup. All of this just feels like a total non-event of a campaign, despite having all the components for a strong offering. A massive disappointment, and a massively missed opportunity.
