Alexander McQueen S/S 2010 : Raquel Zimmermann by Nick Knight

This would probably be very interesting to me... if I didn't have completely deathly phobia of snakes. So much so, if I'd known, I wouldn't have clicked the thread!

The colours are indeed striking though..

meanwhile i didn't even see her at the first three or four glances. i love that he didn't run away from those shoes. if you're going to do something that creative....might as well showcase it in this way.

Love it!!

I never see McQueen ads in magazines either, are they just for the stores that sell the clothes or smth?

WOW !!!!!!! i Love it, i hope it goes into print but doubt it very much
its now my desktop on my computer thats how much i love it, it was abit obvious that it was going to be raquel as she was the back drop in the show

Amazing!

Although it did take my eyes a second to work out what was going on - I didn't see Raquel at first!

This is absolutely visually stunning though.

I like it as a photograph, really.
But as an ad.. All i see is snakes and then i notice that there's a face in the right, and then i see that 2 snakes are weirdly shaped... only people who already saw the collection will understand that it's shoes.

Wow. pure orgasmic visionary. everything is wonderful. will this be print ad on any magazine?

Sh!t. You don't even know what's going on until about 5 minutes later.

It's an explosion of colour and reptiles. That's what I love most about this ad; there is a huge connection between fashion and the reptalia kingdom.

 This looks amazing! How creative of the team to come up with such a wonderful idea for this ad. Though I have a fear of snakes, I must admit that the use of snakes makes the campaign a very wonderful one.

I had to study it to figure it out.

There wasn't a catsuit made out of that material at the SS10, right?

It is definitely a stunning campaign and one for the ages, but there seems to something slightly off-kilter composition wise.

Now that's one amazing ad! :woot: Fantastic colours, I love how the shoes are exposed.
