After a colorful show last season, Alexandre Herchcovitch created a darker collection for this winter.

Hiya! Apparently two members created a thread for the same designer at once so I took the liberty to merge 'em.
I didnt delete any posts because I like how the pics were posted on different formats :P
So enjoy!

Now, about the collection. Ive seen how some of the harcore Herchcovitch fans are a bit puzzled/underwhelmed by this collection. But its richness on textures and materials makes it quite a hit for FW in my eyes.

The shapes seem a bit referrencial historically which makes me wonder about the inspiration of the collection (any pointers about this would be greatly appreciated).

The accesories are usual are very very strong and about the color palette for the collection, overall: I like how he infused yellow but that khaki, I so dont get :ninja:

PS I was about to post this show as well.

^ About of the inspiration, according to Geanine Marques it seems it all started when the team was talking about natural disasters, the nature's power and then about the center of the Earth. The color (they called it "sulfur yellow") should come from the sulfur it's inside of Earth.
Geanine Marques was interviewed before the show by a TV channel, that's where I got the information.

I think this is one of his best collections. Though there were some puzzling pieces, like the fringed shoes and the bubble-shaped resses, it was overall good. I thought the colors were a bit random though.
Seriously now, he is very, very overrated here in Brazil. I remember the horror that was the SS 10 collection and everyone was all over it.
