I was anticipating this show very much and oh, how disappointing it has turned out to be. Where's the whim? The quirks? All of the ideas explored here are so trite at this pt. The first looks posted are the most interesting in the bunch but after that, it's quite blah.

Well I love it when I saw in São Paulo Fashion Week in june. Its so classic, the colors combinations. I love that very light green! The way thae Alexandre use all the masculines clothens it's wonderful. The smoking dress, the belts... and the final look with a special white dress with a black belt... its so beautiful!

I know.. it's like he's in a lot of pressure ever since he moved to New York, it all seems too commercial for his style and so forced.. I wish he had stayed in Sao Paolo.. he used to be truly wonderful.

Interesting, but never really a fan of Herchcovitch... very menswear inspired and a more sombre color palette, not very S/S to me, but some interesting pieces here and there!

That's a really good point about the NYC influence. I didn't even think of that. There are a few things here that I like--like the first black dress with the buttons--but it's because they remind me of his earlier stuff.
