Wow, model_mom - I had no idea you were Ali Turner's mom (feels rather stupid). You must be so very proud.

I'm proud of her no matter what she chooses to do. I wanted her to model more than she did so she could have all the things she dreams about and I can't give her. We've put it on hold till next spring so she can finish high school with her classmates. When we're home all the glamour of NY fades and she's just a kid on a horse with a smile on her face and thats enough for me.

Model_mom, Ali is absolutely stunning!

I'm not just saying that because you're on TFS, If I dind't think so I would have not responded to this post.

But I really do find her to be gorgeous. She has a very unique look to her which is what I find attractive in models. Plus she has a great body.

We sent her pictures to Ford Chicago and they called her to come for an interview.
They signed her and had pictures made for her book. She worked in Chicago the first summer and that Sept. Ali and I spent a month in Paris. She picked up some beautiful prints for her book but worked very little because of her age. The following Jan. we went to NY and Ali did her first shows. Thats where we met Lilianne who hit big her first time out and has been going strong ever since.She is so striking,my guess is she will be around for a long time. I'm sorry this is so long but you know what happens when you ask a mom about her kid.

Thanks Nemova and Acid,everytime I see her pictures it's hard to believe that she's the same kid running around here in her ponytail, jeans and cowboy boots. Maybe she'll be back in the spring when she graduates. I hope so, very few girls get the chance she has.

hmm i checked the glojeans site and they are STILL using it, all of the pics are the same...hmm

does she plan on continuing after shes done with school? not everyone gets that chance and i think she could go prettyyy far.

I must be very weird to see your own daughter in such magazines and ads, like you said. It's nice to see how supportive you are, you made the right decision letting her finish school first. I hope she gets many jobs after graduation.

Thank you both for your kind words. She wants to continue modeling but only on her terms (coming home often, turning down some jobs etc) so I don't know how long the agency will put up with that. You have to have dedication and drive to stay on top in the business. We'll just have to wait and see.
