Hilary is much more patrician looking, while Ali is more girl next door. I always thought she would be perfect for Tommy Hilfiger if she hasn't already worked for him.

There's a story about that picture. Ali and I were in NY for a few weeks and she had just returned from a trip home for her boyfriend's graduation. She had decided to give NY up and return home and forget about modeling. We had a hugh fight and I left to go for a walk to cool off. I was leaning against a building on Broadway and the phone rang. It was her agent and she wanted Ali to go on a casting for Raymond Meier. She gave me the address and it was the same building that I had stopped in front of. I got Ali on the phone and she agreed to come meet me. She went up for her casting and I wander around soho for hours till she called late that evening. She told me the shoot went really well and that the pictures were going to be in Teen Vogue. When the magazine came out her agent called her and told her to go to the Teen Vogue office. The picture that you posted was hanging on the wall in the office. It was a hugh print of the picture above. I'm not sure how long it hung there but it was really something to see it hanging there that day.

Ali ended up walking away from it all for awhile. She just didn't have it in her to deal with all the stress and lonliness that comes with that life at her young age.....and unfortunately it took me awhile to realize that. She is modeling part time again....commercial ads and some runway. She also has her horses,trailer and pickup truck....and she still loves the cowboys.
