I'm surprised at how quiet this thread has been since the end of fashionweek. I love her face, she has the perfect proportions and she seems so elegant and ethereal for some reason!
She would have fitted in so well with the supers of the 90's!:wub::wub:

And I saw a longer interview on inoubliablemodelarmy.com today as well

^^ I think we're all anxiously awaiting some decent print or campaigns to start fawning again. If she pulls it off.

Exclusive Interview with Inoubliable Model Army

Nineteen year old Alisa Ahmann initially caught IMA's attention when she debuted as an exclusive at Calvin Klein during the Fall/Winter 2014 collections. By the time Ahmann resurfaced in Milan as a Jil Sander exclusive, IMA need no further incentive to include the German beauty in its list of Top 10 Newcomers List for the Fall/Winter 2014 season. The 179 cm blue eyed blonde unleashed her full force in Paris logging runway mileage at Christian Dior, Giambattista Valli, Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen, and Elie Saab. Ahmann's powerful runway presence, expressive features, and va-va-voom sensuality looked out of place on the Fall/Winter 2014 runways in the best possible way, harking back to an era when supermodels ruled the catwalks. Ahmann's towering athletic physique calls to mind Australian top model Elle MacPherson, while her high-sculpted cheekbones, prominent jawline, and icy blue eyes have drawn comparisons to the iconic German supermodel Veruschka. Represented by Model Management in Hamburg, the Society Management NY, and Elite Model Management in Paris, Ahmann is currently living in the moment following the Fall/Winter 2014 season, testing with photographers and meeting with prospective clients in the lead up to the impending editorial and campaign season. IMA caught up with Ahmann in Hamburg to chat about her dream run at the Fall/Winter 2014 collections, getting up to speed on supermodels past, present, and future, and the importance of family and friends.

Inoubliable Model Army (IMA): Hi Alisa, congratulations on an amazing debut at the Fall/Winter 2014 collections and on making it onto IMA's Top 10 Newcomers List for the season! How did you spend your first few days following Fashion Week and were you surprised by how well received you were by the fashion industry considering it was your debut effort?
Alisa Ahmann (AA): As it was my debut show season everything was new for me. I was impressed most of all by all of the creative people around me and by how much work goes into preparing the fashion shows.

IMA: Would you mind sharing a little of your backstory with IMA?
AA: I am nineteen years old (turning 20 in May) and come from a very small town close to Stuttgart. Although I love my work, I always enjoy the time coming home spending days with my family and our dog. I started modelling when I was 16 years old however because my focus was on school at the time, I only realised how important modelling would become for me some years later.

IMA: Your Fall/Winter 2014 season began with an opening slot as an exclusive at Calvin Klein! What are your recollections of the casting process for Calvin Klein?
AA: First of all, I simply love Maida & Rami! They are one of the best and nicest casting directors and people I have ever met! I have so much respect for all the work they do during Fashion Week. Chapeau!

IMA: Your Fall/Winter 2014 show list was one of the most exclusive of the season sixth booking for Calvin Klein, Jil Sander, Christian Dior, Stella McCartney, Sacai, Giambattista Valli, Elie Saab, and Alexander McQueen. What are you most cherished memories of the season both on and off the runway?
AA: Every show was impressive in its own way and I enjoyed every single one of them. I couldn't really say which one I liked the most because they were all very exciting for me.

IMA: The show season is incredibly challenging on both a mental and physical level. How did you prepare for Fashion Week and what would you say were the greatest challenges of the month long fashion frenzy?
AA: The most important thing during Fashion Week is to stay calm. Even though Fashion Week is always moving so fast, it is always important to leave a good impression.

IMA: In the relatively short time that you have been modelling what have you enjoyed most about your profession and what advice would you offer to other young girls considering modelling as a career?

AA: I love that you have the opportunity to travel around the world and see so many different parts of it. It makes you stronger and my personal advice for all models is to keep the relationships with their families and friends at home - even if it is difficult sometimes. That is one of the most important things to have in life - friends and family.

IMA: Your powerful striking looks have drawn comparisons within the industry to Germany's most iconic modelling export Veruschka. Are you familiar with this supermodel from the 60s and who are you favourite models amongst the current generation of stars?
AA: To tell you the truth, I was only born in the 90s so I hadn't heard of Veruschka because I was simply too young to know of her. But after I heard of the comparison, I looked her up and feel really honoured to be compared with her. Thank you! But I also really love Kate Moss. She always has these mysterious expressions that I find impressive.

IMA: Success in modelling is contingent on sound management on the part of a model's agency. What do you appreciate most about your mother agency Model Management in Hamburg?
AA: I love every aspect of my mother agency and I am so happy to be with them! They support me so much and the atmosphere is familiar so much so that I always feel at home.

IMA: You spent time in Australia last year modelling. Tell us about your experience "Down Under" and did you find time to explore Australia's incredible wildlife and beach culture in between modelling assignments?
AA: Australia was one of the most impressive and exciting trips I've done so far. Maybe because it was the first time I was modelling outside of Germany or perhaps because it was also the first time working with another agency Chic Management. I was living in Bondi Beach and through that I got a good impression of the Australian way of life.

IMA: The nature of modelling requires individuals to develop a thick skin especially during the casting process. How have you learnt to deal with the intense level of physical assessment that is part and parcel of modelling?
AA: I've had many ups and downs in life and I learned that the most important thing is to never give up and to always try to think positively. Life is not all roses. Being happy with the small things, enjoying every moment, that's what my mother always told me and is still telling me ;-). I am the youngest of four girls and for sure I've learned that the most thing is life is the support I receive from my family.

IMA: What do you hope to achieve in your modelling career and is there an ultimate modelling gig that you would love to book?
AA: For now, I have reached more that I could ever have imagined in a relatively short period of time but I am definitely excited to see what the future has in store for me. I hope to meet with some extraordinary and creative people who will enhance my chance to develop.

IMA: How have your friends and family reacted to your astounding success at the Fall/Winter 2014 collections and has it been surreal going back to your normal home life after having walked for some of the most revered names in fashion?
AA: Honestly I still haven't fully realised how good my first season really went. I think it's the same for my family and friends. I still feel the same as before and I hope that my attitude hasn't changed either. Perhaps that's why coming home, I haven't felt all that different.

IMA: Fashion often treads a fine line between fantasy and wearability. Was there an outfit you wore this past season that you loved walking down the runway in and that you would love to wear in your day-to-day life?
AA: I would wear all of my outfits! Every look was special in its own way and I love to switch into different roles on the runway even if its just for a second.

IMA: What makes you "Inoubliable" (Unforgettable)?
AA: My mother would say my attitude and desire to live and enjoy life every second. I don't obsess about what is going to happen in one month, I prefer to live in the moment.
