The main theme of this new issue of french Elle (weekly) is all about unretouched pictures and stars without make-up. The topic is overused and it might be a tad overdone if you want to know our first thoughts. Well, as always if you ask us about quick interviews even if Peter Lindbergh is perfect as always. Maybe too much natural kills the natural. That's the first reason we were happy with this editorial by Steve Hiett. All about shoes. So Paris. Colorful. Fake. Not natural at all.

The real reason we were so happy is the casting indeed. Every new story with Emma Karlsson is pure delight and getting our first piece from Alisa Matviychuk's portfolio is certainly a moment to remember. We discovered the latter and re-discovered Emma during F/w 09-10 shows, at Lie Sang Bon. Both were here, both were among our unforgettable memories of the week. If Lie Sang Bong is more like one of our guilty pleasure (creative castings with tons of new faces), Alisa also did Nina Ricci this season for those who need more facts. And Emma has just her latest editorial out in Elle UK by Giampaolo Sgura. The delicate duet seems on a very good way - go girls, you too are natural! That way.
