She looks better than usual, but it is SUCH an Allure cover. All Allure covers look the same, and usually don't stand out too much to me (this actually reminds me of an old Natalie Portman cover - her older one, not the new one with her short hair) unless it was the last Angelina Jolie cover. Now THAT was nice.

She's such a dork. I'd never heard any of her music until yesterday. I discovered you can see videos on Yahoo.COM. The front page said "Watch Ashlee Simpson’s blah blah blah video", so I fired it up. She was frolicing about in the video less like a mad woman (which I assume was the goal, teenager in angst) more like someone suffering from nerve damage. I assume she is going the punk route, an assertion I use loosely, so she doesn't resemble Jessica Simpson's pop flavor? She looked like she was trying way too hard.

Anyway, sorry for going on, but she's dork.

I was going to say it looked like Jessica's cover as well. I think it looks bad in my opinion...I dont like the haircut on her and shes got a funny expression.

I think she looks like an exotic model, she looks awesome! A hell of a lot better than Jessica looked on the allure cover... Im impressed, I generally am not so crazy about her!

ironically, even though it looks like other Allure covers, this one just is a little bit different (maybe because it looks a tad bit morbid)

+ when you see them together, one of 'em is just a hologram. i swear it.
they're identical.

I don't think they look bad on the covers but I'm not too fond of it.

And I do think Ashlee is pretty in her own way but that cover makes her look weird. I don't know what it is but something about her face that makes it awkward.
