Allure January 2007 : Naomi Watts

I like the cover shot, esp, the side-swept bangs.

To be fair, Naomi has gotten a W cover before--a March one, no less. Where I really want to see her is Vogue... In a glorious location shoot. Her most glammed-up fashion editorial to date is in InStyle, where she did couture. Very forgettable though. For some reason, she hasn't broken into mainstream fashion publications yet, not even Bazaar. As if an Oscar nomination and a relationship with Heath Ledger aren't enough... She is also one of the most consistently well-dressed celebs, though I liked her Muholland Drive and 21 Grams days better. She wore Roland Mouret back when he showed in London!

Caroline Trentini is in the fashion editorial. This girl is so boring (ditto Raquel Zimmerman). If they need a sexy blond, choose Julia Stegner; a cute one, go with Mona Johansson, I say.

Just got my copy finally and I love the editorial of Trentini, she pulls off many different looks and looks great in every one, and the clothes were wonderful too

Definitely some of the best photographs of Nicole that I've seen (I find her rather lacking in the photogenic department generally) - and some very amusing headlines

It looks like - if they could LET GO of the overexposure they insist on on their covers - they could have an iconic cover here. Vogue Italia showed the image Nicole would like to put out - but these shots, to me, shows more about what is really going on with her.
