Not a fan of her and the cover looks basic. Her hand wasn't necessary though. She looks like she's stretching her arm which makes her look uncomfortable.
This is putting me to sleep, next!

A tighter close up of her face would have been a nice cover. And totally agree with Mon, her hand gestures are very redundant and just take the focus away from the shots in their entirety.

I love the shot, irrespective of those brows!! It's something fresh for Allure. And how weird is it to see Alasdair McLellan for Allure?? I'm not dissapointed.

What will happen if all the so-called indie/niche artists start showing up on these mainstream covers? First Grimes for TeenVogue, now FKS Twigs for Allure. You'd never see Björk pulling such a move.

I'm not a fan of her hand, it's distracting.
Also it's awfully dark for May, I'd perfer this for November.
Major let down after last month's cover.

I'm thrilled to see Twigs on the cover. I don't think she would have gotten it during the Linda Wells era. And McLellan is perfect is shoot beauty. I just wish they had pushed the make up even more. Twigs is the type of star who would have been open to unique looks. I want to see more than the "natural" look.

But anyway I'll be buying this!

That you can say again. In her short span, Michelle Lee has been offering some interesting cover choices. I just wish she'd explore a bit more with the beauty angle of Allure. Give us tangerine lips just for once, lol.

Yeah, I think Allure definitely relies too much on ~natural beauty~.

Honestly, Allure Russia is a guilty pleasure magazine for me because of how LITERALLY it takes the original "beauty" concept of Allure!!

Love that she's on a major fashion cover. Don't care for the cover though, get the pose is she's giving major attitude, but was that the best shot?
