If it wasn't for the title I wouldn't have instantly recognized her; she looks a bit like Jennifer Garner in this light.

On the positive side, the cover is beautiful and serene. Probably a bit too beige, but the red masthead and gold jewelry kind of breaks it up.

I wonder if Jessica get photo approval for her covers? As beautiful as she is they always have the same kind of blandness like she demands to play it safe which would make sense for her brand I guess.

I absolutely agree with you, I had the same thought too: very Jennifer Garner and she looks stunning here, love the color combination actually. I love beige anyways so for me it´s actually positive.

Yes, in fact Jessica Alba has had better covers but Allure has grown on me over the years and got better, just like SELF for example, so here it´s another good one for them.

God, talk about needing some fresh blood! That said, her cover probably sold lots. I feel like the most inoffensive ones are actually the best sellers (see Jennifer Aniston).

I love the shot as usual because of the beige, red, and gold accents. Unfortunately it doesn't look suited to autumn at all, nor does Alba actually look like herself. This should've been for August, not September.

I love that its a softer side of her than the usual super stylized side we always see in magazines. I love that she looks more Latino than Caucasian here.

It's always somewhat funny how certain models fail at these jumping shoots. One must actually give some respect to Caroline, Karlie and Edie. Amanda Wellsh is overthinking everything here, so it all looks very affected to me. Love the styling though, and particularly mad about the beauty story.
