After a hugely successful show season at LCM walking for the likes of Richard Nicoll, Joanthan Saunders, Hackett and James Long amongst others Almantas then went on to walk for the likes of Louis Vuitton in Paris. We caught up with him for the 5 minutes he was back in London.

What was your favourite show this season?
Almantas: That's a really hard question because so many of the shows were fun and exciting but if I had to pick one I'd say Louis Vuitton, I think because of the class and the name, it's a huge show to be a part of and they had good food! That's so important when all you've been eating is backstage sandwiches for a month. Also the stage was awesome it was completely hand made and I really liked my look which really helps when you're walking in a show.

Were there any particular outfits you wore and fell in love with?

Melinda Gloss was pretty amazing, there were these really cool suit jackets which had the cuffs of a sports jumper, I liked that the look was suit and sporty and with Louis Vuitton I loved the shoes!

What's the worst thing about the show season?

I know it's part of the job but the lack of sleep is awful! I never complain though, you just have to get on with it, I hate models that moan about lack of sleep in front of the designers and people working on the shows, it's like, no one has had any sleep, stop moaning! A bad thing about London is the instant coffee at shows, it's so bad!

All models have a survival kit during shows, what's in yours?

A disposable camera, a friend gave it to me to shoot backstage so I take pictures for her, I also have the basics, my tablet, some headphones a book and of course Redbull and maps, especially for castings in London. Oh and the most essential thing, YOUR CASTING SHEET!

Thanks for popping by Almantas, and congratulations on your incredible show season!
