If a brand like Alo can emulate some sort of glamour, why not from others!?

Their propaganda is working. A lot of my Parisian girlfriends are wearing Alo. I still don’t get the appeal but hey, kudos to the team!

It’s indeed very « Weekend at Calabasas » as @Melancholybaby mentioned. They are the new aspirational for a lot more women that we could imagine so I can get it.

Was expensive, they could have went for Ethan James Green. He is like the perfect resident photographer: 1 season Meisel, 1 season Avedon, 1 season Watson and with a little bit of effort he can even do Weber, Demarchelier and Testino.

the appeal is the pilates clean girl esthetic aka skinny rich white that came over from the usa
there is already a new version starting where its the anti clean girl where they are still rich and skinny but mis match the work out gear and show less perfect matching looks and less done ....showing that they are too busy to be perfect ..but its still a studied look

this skims allo Calabasas look is at the end of its trend cycle just like lululemon flops now so will ALLO soon.

they are all waiting for the next trend wave to jump on

I hate all of the shots in/near the pool, but the rest does harken back to the glamorous holiday feel you'd get from a VS catalogue back in the day. In a sea of lifeless drab photography I don't mind this one bit, but I want to know in what world do Adut, Lara, and Amelia make sense together?! The casting could use some work.
