I agree I have this notion that it's because of her short proportions that makes her less bookable for runway .. and we all know runway definitely gives a lot more exposure career-wise

Could this be the only reason? Sasha Pivovarova and Alyssa are the same height though but you're right "short" models are exceptions on the catwalks.
It's a shame because in her editorials she really delivers. And though I'm not too fond of the VS/catalogs pics, well even there she manages to pull it off. Well it's only my opinion of course
Anyway she's young and we never know how her career will evolve...

Well Sasha has tall proportions and so does Agy who's only 5'8" but looks 6'. Alyssa has short proportions. But I like her that way it works for her look in my opinion. If she had tall proportions she'd be just another Hilary Rhoda.

I also noticed that some editorial models (including our Alyssa) deliberately keep their profile low. It's a marketing strategy I believe .. sad on our parts because we hardly know some personal stuff about them
