African Women

Afrikanske kvinder

She always seems so frail and vulnerable but at the same time like she's above everything else. It's weird. I totally love the vibe she gives off.

I'm from Norway but I can understand Danish pretty well. I don't feel comfortable translating it though, I'm sorry. Maybe a Danish person can though?

I'm kinda in a hurry, so i havent got the time to translate it. but the poem uses african women as a kind of metaforic way of explaining how hars life can be. Like, she's putting it in perspective, and makes it seem so unselfish and like a cry for help on the behalf of the whole world. Mostly, she has some very good words on the general mind of a woman, who is experiencing choices etc. and it shows just how much Amanda know about this.

Anyways, maybe I'm wrong and Amandas has another idea of it, since I've been wrong about such things before. lol. anyways. just to give you an idea. Put it in google translate, and maybe youll get an idea. It's meant to be abstract to don't get afraid :)

The shots of Amanda standing on the balcony and sitting in the chair are my favs of the whole set  Absolutely mind-blowing. I mean, there's nothing too exciting about them but the mood, the vibe she's spreading in them and the way they look (very soft and kind of innocent, vulnerable as someone above pointed out) is just pure love. Not to mention she looks simply stunning in each one of them without even trying too hard or wearing make-up/ being styled to death. Well, even though there might not be too much major stuff coming up from Amanda, these pics show me the reason again why I love her so much

Lol, it was a little confusing but thank you! I am going to put it in a translator right now...

Amanda deserves more major stuff :( I don't want her to fade away.

For my English speaking peeps:

With tense arms and tightened necks

Spewing flames and red-eye in the night.

While in their veins pumping shoot, with a heroic substance.

Dancer tomono saw their jewelry beats wildly around him.

Turns them into blood and behind the mask they cried.

Cries of white powder and icy tears, which soon turned into dirty channels off the black skin.

From their blue blood only comes from fear and their hearts no sound.

From neglected children scream comes only emptiness.

And from their emptiness, infinity.

African women have bruises and cuts so deep seated in their mahogany-skin that no one can grasp them clean again.

The dancing tomono to the blood gushing and skin falling off.

Then they are reborn.
