Amelia Jennings

Goodness, she's certainly.. changed. And the changes do nothing for her facial features.....

I wonder why she's not with Next in NY, given she's a Chic girl here?

She used to be with them...and yes, definite change! :innocent: seems to be the trend for aussie girls going international...

Yes, I was just wondering when those pola's were taken, as pics of Amelia in mags just recently looked fine. Perhaps Stephanie's reports on Balenciaga's approval were a convincing factor for Amelia, especially since she too desperately needs something to get her going internationally.

She reminds me of Natasha Poly now with that big forehead, sunken cheeks and eyes over a square jaw.... :yuk:

Amelia in Brooklyn

Here are a couple shots of Amelia I took this past Monday. What an absolute dream to work with! Such a sweet girl. You can view more of my images at http://karlrothenberger.com/

laissez faire vs. fixer models

jennings.jpg

Models, models, everywhere! Nolita's Openhouse Gallery was full of foreign accents and mile-long legs at last night's art sale to benefit the AIDS Community Research Initiative of America hosted by Ford Agency CEO Katie Ford and artist Ross Bleckner. You couldn't turn around without bumping into a catwalker, whether it was Lily Cole or 2008 Ford Supermodel of the World winner Hyoni Kang, carefully enunciating her English. Most mannequins are used to commanding a room, but what about the job's more embarrassing moments? Aussie newcomer Amelia Jennings (above) recalled losing a shoe ("It was way too big for me!") her very first time on the catwalk. (She picked it up on the way back.) Taking the discussion of wardrobe malfunctions one step further, Agnete Hegelund declared there are two types of models. "One type fixes what is wrong, one type doesn't fix anything—even though your shirt is falling out, you just walk faster to get inside." For the record, she's a fixer.

I love the Ford polaroids! Amelia looks great! Better than I've ever seen her look. I was never really a fan of her ...

Interesting she's with Ford, they're really coming out strong for SS09 ... I'm keen to see what happens with Amelia ...

Thanks :flower:

She looks great in the pics by Karl. I actually think she'll do quite well in NY.

she's now on the high fashion board at Ford in NY. does anyone have a client login to view the pictures?

i hope this means she's doing shows! i wish ford would hurry up and release their show packages!

I dunno.. I just don't think she looks so good.
In the Rachel Roy pics she looks jaded and tired, and all the fake tan really dulls her complexion. She doesn't shine on the catwalk, she just seems.. bleh. :(

I honestly didn't expect to see her in any of the shows this Fashion Week, and would be surprised if she's in any big ones anyway.
