Amiri Menswear F/W 2025.26 Paris

Don't know what to make of the mid-thigh "jacket" length bring proposed here. Looks 9, 11, 13, 14, etc. I do like it in look 7 and in the last two.

He is quietly establishing himself as a Tom Ford but for younger male customers. Or at least, he is the closest competition to what Tom Ford used to be. The right amount of tailoring with attitude, gaudy but not trashy, more hype than Versace. A better rounded Philip Plein.
I am still on the verge but a younger me would lap this up shamelessly.

Those square blazers are quite questionable.
The colors are great but surprisingly the womenswear is superior.

Finally a joyful, quite colorful collection. with nice shapes, good attitude and a designer who BELIEVES in his proposition - he looks very good in his clothes too.

I live in the tropics, so would not wear the majority of the collection lol but the jackets and some shirts are definitely wearable for me in colder days.

I can never quite understand this brand, it is like jumping on the bandwagon with nothing new to offer yet they are priced rather exhorbitantly.

Their clothes are at best wearable when I dont want to think too much about what to put on today. The designs feel like a poor man`s dsquared yet the prices are not, but neither are they fun like Marni for eg.
Looks like a Philipp Plein show by a limited Budget of sparkles

One thing that have done well is with the stockists, I live in a few cities and everywhere I go, I see them.

Also I’d

if I may - the fabrics look cheap ..:(
if you go to their stores... the fabrics are anything but cheap.

It's sad that most people know amiri for the tacky logo shirts and sneakers... I quite find some of his tailored pieces to be fresh and desirable. Unfortunately way too expensive for a "logo tshirt" brand so i never got around to buying their rtw.

I was thinking of a cheap version of Tom Ford, but the target is younger so it’s kinda ok… liked the womenswear

where are you all getting cheap as in cheap prices or cheap fabrics?? neither there fabrics or prices are cheap. The embroideries in real look amazing compared to plein's bedazzled stuff

It’s fine.

I like the color palette but it ends up being muddy together on some of the looks.

It’s a fine collection. The evolution of the brand is one of the more interesting things about it. What they put on the runway and what most people associate them with are so different.

This is more or less how I imagined Gucci after Alessandro Michele.

The 70s is one of my favorite decades from the XXth century, so this is a yes.

I know! That’s why I said look :)
you’re totally right. I think Amiri is too expensive and I’m not sure there’s something special that sets them apart from other brands

I’m slowly starting to like Amiri. This is their less tacky collection ever

It’s kinda what i wanted from Gucci. We can see he’s an american designer, but grounded, nothing ridiculous like what LV has become
