It's Victoria's Secret all right. He closed Jean Paul Gaultier’s haute couture show in Paris as the traditional bride. He channelled Marilyn Monroe. He was presented to the Queen at Buckingham Palace. What other accomplishments could the androgynous, Bosnian-born, Melbourne-raised modelling superstar Andrej Pejic squeeze into the closing days of 2011? Try scoring an advertising campaign for womens’ lingerie. Behold two images from a new intimate apparel campaign from Dutch chain store Hema, advertising its “Mega Push-Up Bra”, as modelled by Pejic underneath two womens' dresses. Even in the super liberal Netherlands, Hema’s choice of model has made big news, with at least a half dozen Dutch news outlets picking up the story in the last few hours. The campaign was shot in Amsterdam in late September and is described as a "money job" by Pejic's Sydney agent, Chadwick's Joseph Tenni. "It's revolutionary" Tenni told frockwriter. "I've never known a man to do a womens' lingerie campaign before".

Andrej Pejic Lands Major Women’s Lingerie Campaign, Models a ‘Mega Push-Up Bra’

Most models aren’t exactly busty, but Andrej Pejic being a guy and all, I think we can probably agree he’s one of the most flat-chested models out there–And the least likely of spokesmodels for a push-up bra campaign. But if there’s one thing we’ve learned from following Pejic’s breakout career, it’s to expect the unexpected. So, alas, here he is, starring in a intimate apparel campaign from Dutch chain store Hema, reports Frock Writer.

The campaign is for Hema’s “Mega Push-Up Bra,” which promises to make your boobs “2 cups extra.” And judging from the photos of Pejic sporting the bra underneath two different dresses, the product must really work: The male models’ breasts pectorals are a convincing B cup, cleavage and all. Which was probably the impetus behind booking a dude (albeit a gorgeous, feminine dude) to hawk their push-up bra. If it looks this good on Pejic, just imagine what the bra could do for women with actual, you know, breasts.

Pejic’s Sydney agent, Chadwick’s Joseph Tenni, told Frockwriter, “It’s revolutionary. I’ve never known a man to do a womens’ lingerie campaign before”. Us either. But of course, leave it to Pejic to break the mold–and look jaw-droppingly gorgeous in the process.
