Capital Supermodel

CALIFORNIA-BASED model Angela Lindvall was in London recently to shoot the new Monsoon campaign, but it's not the only thing that's brought her to the capital.
"I'm actually dating an English guy right now, so I'm getting to see a whole new side of the city," she revealed. "I'm staying in Notting Hill while I'm here, and I love just walking around."
Wearing no make-up and fetching glasses of water for those on set may not seem like typical supermodel behaviour, but it is Lindvall's accessibility and earthy beauty that make her the perfect fit for the British brand.
"I worked for Monsoon a couple of years ago - we shot in Mexico and it was really beautiful - so to reconnect with them has been great," she said. "I love the story of the brand; that the designers take inspiration from all over the world - and they're having their 40th anniversary soon, which is impressive."
But, whilst she's in London, don't expect to see her on Bond Street; shopping doesn't come naturally to the Oklahoma native.
"I really love Stella McCartney, I think she's amazing; I love what she does and I think, as a person, she's just quite incredible," she said. "But, shopping, you know what? To be honest with you, I'm like the nemesis of fashion. I went shopping the other day with my sisters - and it was really fun - but I'm just not really one of those kind of girls who's shopping all the time. Maybe because I'm so surrounded by it in my job, when I'm not working I just like to get away from it."
