Anna de Rijk was one of Lexposure’s favorite girls of Fall-Winter 2009/10 and after such a sensational season, her editorial book experienced a major improvement in number, quality and reputation. Magazines like Vogue Italia and now 10 couldn’t miss a model like her and we certainly understand their choice: there is something about Anna you probably won’t see twice. If she’s poised at an unmatched level, she’s also can appear as limitlessly playful and several pictures of this editorial by Claudia Knoepfel and Stefan Indlekofer (styled by David Vandewal) have a subtle touch of humour. Last but not least, the name of the story, Fantastical, sounds absolutely perfect to describe the atmosphere both by its sense and music. Between fancy, grotesque and effortlessly elegant, presented like a performance where Anna plays the main role. Just grand.
