VS would ruin Anna's career like it ruined many others in recent years. This isn't the 90s. We are talking about the crappy tacky modern VS.

I disagree with everything you said. I wouldn't call Anna better then Doutzen or Adriana. Both have maneged much more (ofcourse they are longer in the industry) with campaigns, contracts and covers.

What I think happy canadian means is that much HF models like Lara, Gisele, Raquel, Karlie, Joan, Natasha all walked the show and Anna is not better then them. You can't compare them at all. It doesn't matter that people didn't like Lara. She got the money, the attention and it definitly did not hurt her career or the careers from all mentioned above. After that she got the Calvin Klein contract and now L'oreal.

Anna is not better then VS. Almost all big models walked for VS.
I can't recall any model who's career was ruined by VS.

I honestly don't see how VS ruins a model's career. Most of the established top girls have walked the show. Anna has a strong foothold in high fashion so I don't think VS would hurt her at all. It would do quite the opposite actually.

Being cast for a Victoria's Secret show definitely isn't harmful to a model's career. However, if is far to early for Vanessa, Anna, or Sasha Luss to be working their catalogues. THAT is an end of career job. Monka Jagaciak is at that stage now, and she was popular several years before the 3 above named models became A-list.

Despite your own feelings about VS, you cannot logically say that it destroys girls HF careers if they walk the show, that's ridiculous and there are no facts to back it up. Can it make people (aka people on here) talk negatively about them? Sure, but it doesn't hurt their careers at all, it helps them more than anything.

lol...better than Karlie¿? (with HF campaigns, VS, loreal, 7/8 vogue covers by year...)or Doutzen (easily the most versatile model right now beside Gisele; with a lot of HF stuff under her belt, CK fragrance, h&m, VS, loreal, charity work...and more and more..) ... I mean, even though I love Anna, no way , she's not better than them.

That time has been changed!
I remember interviews in 2005/2006/2007/2008 when fashion people said to Doutzen or u do high fashion or u do commercial stuff.. U can't do both because that supermodel time is over.
When Doutzen signed with Loreal people said she's too commercial now & her high fashion career is over! That time was ridiclious!!
But now models can do high fashion & commercial jobs again without damage to their careers
