It probably helps. Especially with Givenchy who have been known lately for their gimmicky celebrity castings...
But in her case, I think she totally deserves it. She is totally unique, has a beautiful face and runway body. Even if she did not have the followers, I would wish her the sucsess she is having anyway.

Ohhh no! That is totally frustrating for me, I can't look at her any other way now than knowing she is being casted/ signed most likely because of her following. But like Orthelian said, I still believe she deserves it. There are a ton of connected/ largely followed girls being signed and you can just tell instantly from lack of height or average look/mediocre face. But this girl, I would never have guessed.
