I'm really surprised IMG chose "Anna" over "Luxe". Luxe just seems so much more interesting and different especially considering how many models named "Anna" there are these days.

^I know! I was really surprised to read that. There are like a hundred "Anna" models ... and no doubt numerous "Anna G's". "Luxe" is much cooler and would set her apart even more ...

Oh well, still love her!

Luxe is definitely more original than Anna, but I don't think it goes with her image at all. Maybe if she gave off more of a primadonna vibe... still, to me she's too 'edgy' for it.

^Totally see your point there. Though, it could have been interesting, this gap between what Luxe is usually related to as a name and what she looks like in her pictures, in her attitude. In another way, it's also interesting to see the opposite process of what agencies do so often (changing the models name into something more... "edgy"). It's oddly interesting to see them going for a rather anonymous name like Anna and rely on the girl's own look and potential. What should maybe not have been the most important with her is turning into something truly thrilling...
