Is she on an exclusive contract with Marc Jacobs or something?

:buzz: Good to see her there!!

Nope...she did other minor shows in Paris as well. One of them being:

Then when and why did all other designers stop loving her :(

Mr-Dale, it really looks like she isn't being cast. Odd, given how fantastic she looked at LV.

this is frustrating, how old is she? 16? and already retired, lmao this is riduclous
so many the best shows she did and now? nothing

People! :woot::heart: Yes shes taking Japan by storm! ^_^:flower:

She has an editorial in the April 2008 issue of Harper's Bazaar Japan...here's a preview:

Perhaps fashion isn't ready yet for Anna-Mariya Porizkova.. After all they seem really big on gangly blonde 'blancs' right now, and this girl has potential to blossom into a wonderful bombshell over the years. Hopefully she'll still be around and ready when she's about 18. She's one in a million but it might not be the right time today and she might be a bit young for her looks. I can totally picture her pulling an Isabeli (masculine jawline and all), Marija V or Bianca when she's older. ^_^

I never thought of it that way. She has total potential to do that. When she first came out everyone was crazy about her but the hype fizzled out quickly and she was pushed aside. Give maybe, a year or two, she could go home, finish school, model on the holidays and when shes done, she'll still be fairly young (18?) and make a major comeback. If she came back, people wouldn't remember her for her lack of work over the last year or so, bbt they'll remember her as the Vogue cover girl who will be "the one" to bring back into the game.

i don't think DNA and her other agencies are giving her the attention she deserves. personally i thought it was a bad move for her to switch to DNA, but hopefully she'll be able to make a runway comeback.

she did get some sweet campaigns this season though.

Sounds like a plan to me! :p But it's a daring move to purposely push your model to the background. The prevailing mentality is to fully milk a girl's potential regardless of anything. Potential is potential, and if you're able to book significant shows like LV, Anna Sui and Marc Jacobs you gotta do it even if it's all you're gonna get in an entire show season. However, it must be obvious to her agents that something isn't working and it might not be a matter of exposure or management.

Anna-Mariya is special, I hope she can see that for herself as well. Keep faith. ^_^
