I don't see the Tanya thing at all (thanks God as I'm no Tanya fan) but I truly like her face and expressions. First time (I think but my head feels like a sponge so I might have forgotten) it happens to me to like some newbie this season. Geniunely interesting and maybe even inspiring.

hey guys did you know Anna's a ballerina? she went to Moscow to study at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy and she's staying there for 1 month I think.

Dunno and honestly it doesn't mean she is Russian, just that she attended the Russian ballet shcool (one of the best in the world unless I'm old and should fade away!). But for that matter she is way ahead of most of these Russian beauties sent by their regardless agents (who still think a star shines by chance) think can make a breakthrough just by appearing at NYFW. Sorry everyone if I talk bad Seen too much, know too much... Wish the VERY BEST to Anna who is million miles away from this (off-topic? you tell me!) discussion.

I'm not sure I understood your point with 'russian beauties-their agents' but Anna certainly is million miles away. And her Facebook status updates are hilarious, she's funny in a way that not lot of people are.

I was just pointing out that many russian mother agents are a bit too 'industrial' in the way they manage their models, trying to launch as many girls as they found and can sometimes not as careful as one should be in this business (and it's not only true for the Russians but as we were talking about Russia, it was the first example I had).

But then you are right, doesn't matter who you compare her to (and there is no real need for any comparison anyway) she is million miles away from the 'common' model of these days. Never had a look at her Facebook account but nice to know she's got a good sense of humour as well.

I don't know her personally but seems such a lovely person. I just love Italy and never had a 'thing' for an italian model so I'm super excited about her career.

huh?? big? in those last pics? I don't see anything big. maybe it's the shape of the sandals or thin ankles that makes them look wider.

They just seem bigger than they would normally appear because of the angle from where the pictures where taken... And that's nothing that would have caught my attention. The black and white pictures are great by the way.
