“Invasive Leveller” and “Canyon Grooves” with its miserable, depressing air and flat-lighting is the brand of ennui that’s plagued high fashion that I despise so much: It’s the equivalent of Prozac as a high fashion story to me.
What I really here like is the odd-looking— even motley crew of a cast given at least an effort to conjure up a mood, an attitude that references The Stones— as played out at this point as it may be, but it’s still more of an effort than Another Man’s been doing for way too long. The graphic design is still annoying, but the personalities and some of the edits more than make up for that brand of banality.
Will pick this up for sure.
