same here, I think he sort of took me off guard by getting rid of all dark sides he usually incorporates in his work.. this is gorgeous but it feels a little too sweet at moments.

Love this look.

You're very right about the absence of the dark tones in this, that's why it didn't blow my mind like usual. And yes, some of the stripes, "Death in Venice" looks are sensational and his sense of light layerings is always superb
