If you do, could you please help me translating this phrase into english?

Compra buenos libros aunque nunca los leas

Gracias!:flower:

"Buy good books that nobody else reads.

Thank you!"

Or something like that...

haha thank you very much! I will not hold you responsible for this then! ^_^

Hi, I'm, spanish and I think that's wrong

What fourbolt wrote means: "Compra buenos libros que nadie más lea"

The problem is that I don't know exactly how to translate your sentence to english (my english sucks). Maybe something like this:

"Buy good books although you'll never read them"

That's probably wrong but you get the idea :flower:

You can say:

Buy good book although you never read them

or

Buy good book even though you never read them

That would be the correct translation I think :)

yep thats the one :flower:

I have a good idea for people who want to practice their spanish (like me :D). Why don't we post something in english and we take turns translating it into spanish, or vice versa?

Here's the phrase:

I never have time for my chores because I go out everyday.

I wonder if anyone will try this with me

Ok I'm a little rusty on Spanish but I will try:

Nunca tengo tiempo para mis quehaceres porque salgo todos los dias.

I should be studying but instead I'm talking on this website.

quehaceres! I'm spanish and I'm surprised you've said this word! It's very oldfashion, the kind of word my grandma use, but it sound sophisticated in some way, lol! Probably young people would just say "nunca tengo tiempo para mis cosas" or something like that.

^ well I learned Spanish in school so I guess they taught us the old-fashioned stuff.

Buy good books even if you dont read them...

I agree :D , that is the way I would transalate it as well

I concur with: buy good books even if you don't read them. It's related to the lifestyle ploy of stocking your shelves with high quality books to impress visitors.
