Arena Homme + Spring / Summer 2014 by David Sims & Alasdair McLellan

For the Spring 2014 issue of Arena Homme+, the biannual men's fashion journal has released three space-themed covers (two of these were photographed by David Sims). The issue also features an exclusive look at designer Raf Simons' collaboration with the artist Sterling Ruby (we'll have a preview up on tFS tomorrow).

Elsewhere in the issue, Peter Doig interviews fellow painter Markus Lupertz, photographers Araki and Juergen Teller write about one another, and shoe designer Manolo Blahnik talks classic Hollywood. And that's the reason the AH+ tagline reads, "All Killer, No Filler Since 1993."

Seems very interesting. I like the black frame with the golden fonts on the Fathers and HRH. Lee Perry covers. The Sims version is however very week with that too obvious cutout...

For its Spring 2014 issue, Arena Homme+ got a special look at designer Raf Simons' one-off catwalk collaboration with the artist Sterling Ruby. The project was photographed by British fashion photographer Alasdair McLellan in two parts, in Paris and London, and styled by Max Pearmain.
"You've looked very deeply into this collection, into our collaboration," said Simons, speaking with the magazine in an interview that accompies the feature. "And you've hit on the truth."
