There's something not clicking for me with this collection, I think he did some nice fairy-tale dresses for some princess but those sheer pants and tops just look tacky to me. and there's too much of it as well... the whole collection feels overbearing.

That liquidy material he uses is absolutely magnificent! What material is that? Silk? It looks gorgeous!! It's like liquid air, so bloody good.

The whole thing looks dated. Some great bombers and jackets but the styling and the presentation are off.
It looks dated because it shows that he wanted to do something "modern" or "edgy".
And those wigs! My god!

The shiny, ruffly, purply, girly characteristics of this offering just looks so ridiculously doll-like and juvenile; It’s like some creepy take on The Little Mermaid-- and jellyfish. And cheap. Nothing works— it’s like some Armani-imposter doing a caricature of the real Armani. I'll always have a fondness for Armani. Sadly though, he seems to be running blindly, and cluelessly these days, in circles.

The ruffle pants are hideous.
Giorgio Armani start be old.... And the collection looks outdated.

Lola, you are right, it seems he wanted -sure, he wanted, to do something modern and it didn't work.

This fabrics he used yet. Last time it was in Giorgio Armani S/S 2016 collection. And in HC he used it too. It's not new anymore.
Too much sheer, too much ruffles....
